A Prenuptial agreement is printed on the tablecloth. The silverware is forged to read “i do”-- one side in silver, the other in gold. This artwork speaks to the inequalities in relationships, the way people protect themselves in them, the loss of romance, and the fact that people are thinking of ways out of marriage before they even enter into it. It reflects on what society has done to a holy sacrament and love. Over the course of the exhibit, the rose died.
